Carbon Fiber Greenland Paddles

Digitally reproduced from our computer carved wood paddles, these composite paddles provide you with another medium for this great design. Foam cored for flotation, you will be amazed at the strength, warmth and feel of these beautiful black paddles. In sizes 84" through 90" as a one or two piece.

Traditionally, Greenlanders used storm paddles that were one armspan plus a hand. These variable storm paddle lengths now give paddlers the chance to use a storm paddle most suited to their physique. The use of any paddle shorter than your touring length is a handy option. In sizes 76" through 82" in a one or two piece version.

Why paddle with a stick? Whether you choose high tech carbon fiber or a laminated hollow core wood paddle you will be amazed at the versatality of the Greenland paddle. This low arm paddle stroke is superb for long distance paddling. The narrow blade offers a full thrust for forward motion while offering little resistance to the wind. The paddling stroke is easier on your wrists and shoulders. This blade will slide through your hand offering you full use of the paddle's length for greater options in bracing and rolling.
